  STEPH MCALEAR
Born and raised in Cornwall, ON, Steph McAlear now calls Ottawa home where he’s managed a local independent record store, CD Warehouse, for the past 5 years. When he isn’t managing inventory he can be found managing rhythm for the likes of former Barstool Prophets lead singer Graham Greer and the up and coming singer/songwriter Tyler Kealey. Musically, if he’s not on stage he’s in the studio, recording tracks on albums for other local artists and performers. Steph is also a singer/songwriter in his own right and has been slowly working on his own album which should be finished sometime sooner rather than later. His ‘works in progress’ can be heard on his MYSPACE.

Back in 2003 Steph had a year long battle with a type of cancer called Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Nodular Sclerosis. That year was both the best and worst year of his life which Steph says “broke him and rebuilt him“. He has been free and clear for 8 years now and feels both privileged and thankful to be able to give his time and talent to such an important cause.
